The Nature of Loss

The Nature of Loss is a podcast series exploring personal stories of grief and looking at how interacting with nature is an important part of that process. Through the conversations, we hear about the many benefits that nature can provide, activities to get involved in, and how to use the outdoors to support yourself or loved ones during a personal loss.

Join a group

If you would like to take the next step and join a nature-focused bereavement group situated in the beautiful Hengistbury Head and at a local farm then contact Mollie. The group is open to anyone who has lost someone in their lives and would like to take some time out in nature with others.

The group meets every other week, where they get stuck into a nature-focused activity such as something arty or maybe species identification.

The sessions are free, and a hot drink is provided. If you are interested in coming along, please send an email to mollie.taylor@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk
