Geocaching
Geocaching is a fun, outdoor treasure hunting game for all ages, where you seek out a set of GPS co-ordinates to find a hidden container called a geocache.
Inside the geocache you will find a logbook so you can sign your code name to prove you found it – the previous visitor might have even left a gift for you! After signing the log, the cache is placed back exactly where the person found it.
There are hundreds of geocaches all across Dorset, so you can have a go wherever you live. All you need to take part is a GPS device or a GPS-enabled mobile phone and then register for free on the Geocache website to search for the ones near you.
Get your co-ordinates, get outdoors and see how many you can find.
