Sowing seeds and nurturing them as they grow is a great way to focus on something positive and is the perfect mindful activity. In the end, to be rewarded with flowers, fruit and vegetables is the icing on the cake.

Don't have the space or want more support?

There are many ways to get gardening in Dorset:

  • Get an allotment and meet your allotment neighbours. Some allotments are owned by the local council and others are run by private associations.
  • Join a community gardening group. Some of these are more specialised than others so just search what is around to suit your needs/preferences..
