Gentle regular walk in Shaftesbury with a focus on slowing down and enjoying nature.
This is a gentle walk with a focus on slowing down and enjoying the gifts nature has to offer, learning how we can use outdoor spaces to help us feel calm, and trying some mindfulness exercises in a friendly sociable group.
A regular walk which will often follow the same route but also take in new areas, central to Shaftesbury, there will always be a stunning view to take in, and a chance to stop in a café at the end.
This activity is dementia friendly, and a full Covid risk assessment has been undertaken. It will be outdoors and will follow national guidelines. If you have any concerns please contact Lindsey.
Every Friday 10:00 am until 11:30. On the odd occasion, due to other unavoidable commitments of the walk leader, Lindsey may need to cancel an upcoming walk but advance notice will be given.
A walk not run on 19th August 2022 and the 2nd of September 2022.
All sessions are free of charge.

Meet outside Shaftesbury Abbey on Park Walk.
We always strive to make our events as accessible as we can using gentle and generally flat paths but there can be some uneven ground due to the nature of the countryside! As always all our events are dementia friendly. If you wish to check particular details please get in touch.
We’d like to keep the group size fairly small so please book your place (essential).
