Dorset based organisations/groups are coming together, led by Dorset National Landscape, to help more people access nature and heritage for physical and mental health benefits. For many, having company when trying to enjoy nature and heritage in local settings can help overcome the barriers they may face such as anxiety or low confidence, lack of knowledge or safety concerns.
Our ambition is to build a network of trained volunteer Nature Buddies across Dorset and BCP, which are embedded in local organisations and groups, who can be matched to people in need of support.
