We're recruiting!

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Dorset National Landscape Stepping into Nature team to help deliver the Nature Buddies Network project.

This project aims to reduce the barriers people face to engage with heritage and nature, through working in partnership with community groups and organisations to grow a coordinated network of volunteer Nature Buddies across Dorset

The Nature Buddies Network has been made possible with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we will be able to support more people and enable, empower and encourage them to access and connect to nature and heritage within the landscape.

You will be making a difference to the lives of people in Dorset by reducing barriers to accessing nature and heritage, reducing loneliness and helping people to enjoy better, healthier, more fulfilled lives.

Deadline: 26th August 2024

Details & application form can be found here: Dorset Council Jobs

This is a full time role until the end of June 2026 and will be based within the small, friendly and dynamic Dorset National Landscape team, hosted by Dorset Council. The office base will be County Hall, Dorchester.

If you have any questions about the role, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Sally King (Tourism, Visitor & Access Manager)
