Published in November 2015, the Dorset’s Environmental Economy report was undertaken by experts in environmental economics. It looked at the value of the county’s green sector (Dorset-Environmental-Economy.pdf) as well as the Dorset National Landscape (DAONB-economy.pdf) and Jurassic Coast (Jurassic Coast-economy.pdf) designations and management. Quoted in 2013 prices, Dorset’s Environmental Economy was judged to have a Gross Value Added of around £1.5 billion and 30,000 jobs each year.
