Two of the events showcase projects supported by the Dorset National Landscape Community Access Fund. We’re proud to support initiatives that help people connect with nature and their local community, and we encourage you to visit and find out more.

  • 11th September – Community Allotment Morning Tea & Tour – B-Side Arts Festival   Tour the Portland Community Allotments and discover how local people are growing food, supporting nature, and building community through a range of inclusive projects at Grove Allotments.
  • 13th September – Whispers from the Wood  is a collaborative project by artist Liz Lake and young women from Portland, exploring connections with nature, creativity, and place through making with reclaimed natural and found materials from France Quarry.
