What to expect

The Inside Out Dorset festival brings artists from all over the world to create extraordinary events in extraordinary places. This year we are delighted to be supporting the events at Wild Woodbury in Bere Regis (20-24th September) as part of our Flavours project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Wild Woodbury is owned by the Dorset Wildlife Trust and is undergoing a process of rewilding. This special site will provide a beautiful backdrop to performances by artists from France, Holland and the UK which draw on themes of food, nature and natural cycles, weather, climate change and soil health.

The programme includes performances and installations across 5 days, as well as a Food Village where you can enjoy local food & drink.

We’re excited to be pitching our Talking Tent too and will be joined by artists with their own special landscape stories and poems to tell. We would love to hear your thoughts about Dorset’s diverse nature, heritage, food, farming and culture -we’re looking forward to discovering what makes Dorset special to you!

The festival also includes events at Moors Valley Country Park & Forest, Poole, Wimborne and Weymouth (15th – 24th September).
