Bookings are now open for the Nature Buddies Network Conference, on Wednesday 10 June, 9.30am – 2.30pm at Kingston Maurward College, Dorchester.

A day of celebration, looking ahead, talks and taster sessions for anyone involved or keen to find out more about the scheme.

What to expect

The conference will highlight what Nature Buddies has achieved so far and the positive impact of connecting people to nature through community‑led support.

The event includes:

  • Short talks from those involved in Nature Buddies
  • An interactive workshop
  • Nature‑based taster activity sessions

You’ll hear real‑life experiences, meet Nature Buddy volunteers and host organisations, and gain practical insight into how nature‑based activities can support wellbeing. There will also be opportunities to network, share learning and help shape the future of the scheme.

Suitable for

  • Healthcare professionals and social prescribers – come and find out more abut the scheme, how nature can benefit wellbeing and the referral process
  • Nature and heritage based organisations and community groups interested in setting up their own schemes
  • Existing Nature Buddies host organisations
  • Current or prospective Nature Buddy volunteers

Whether you’re already part of the Nature Buddies Network or completely new, you’re very welcome.

Location

The event is being held at Kingston Maurwood College, Dorchester.

The venue is fully accessible and there is plenty of free parking on site.

Booking information

There is no charge to attend, lunch and refreshments are also provided free of charge.
