Dorset based organisations/groups are coming together, led by Dorset National Landscape, to help more people access nature and heritage for physical and mental benefits. For many, having company when trying to enjoy nature and heritage in local settings can help overcome the barriers they may face such as anxiety or low confidence, lack of knowledge or safety concerns.

Our ambition is to build a network of trained volunteer Nature Buddies, which are embedded in local organisations and groups, who can be matched to people in need of support.

In this webinar we will cover how the scheme works, the benefits to clients & referrers and the referral process, including mental health levels. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

This webinar is aimed at Community Mental Health Teams, GPs, Health Coaches, Social Prescribers and Link Workers across the Dorset Primary Care Network and other professionals using green prescribing such as social workers, support workers & counsellors.
