The Stepping into Nature team will work alongside community groups and organisations that support adults with disabilities and farmers across Dorset to build confidence for a more diverse audience to enjoy and benefit from spending time in and learning about farms within their local protected landscapes.

We will co-design farm visits with groups of adults living with disabilities and the farmer/land owner to deliver an enjoyable and meaningful opportunity to get out into the countryside in peer-to-peer support ‘Nature Buddy’ groups.

We will build the framework for a network of Nature Buddy volunteers and work at a strategic level to scale delivery via a multi-organisational approach.
