Stage 3 application from Wessex Community Assets to support a group of local farmers through research, development and implementation of field trials in hemp growing, harvesting and processing. Five field trials (11.4ha) will continue experimentation with growing, harvesting and processing hemp in West Dorset conditions. In this third phase, agronomic principles pertaining to industrial hemp as a field crop will be further explored, including the cultivation, management, harvesting and processing of Hemp for use as an oil as well as for fibre, and include a certified Organic site for the first time.
