Our Nature Buddies are here to help you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to take your first steps into gardening and conservation volunteering. They focus on helping you settle into the group, understand how sessions work, and build confidence to take part in practical activities at your own pace.

From helping with initial paperwork and explaining what to expect, to working alongside you on practical tasks or simply being a familiar and reassuring face, Nature Buddies provide friendly, consistent support. They will introduce you to the gardening and conservation team, help you feel at ease, and ensure you feel included, valued, and part of the group from the very start.
