Welcome to Blue Pool

Blue Pool is a magical flooded clay pit tucked away in woodland near Corfe Castle, where the water glows turquoise (or green or blue) thanks to tiny clay particles catching the light. Sandy paths wind through 25 acres of heath and trees, with a long rope bridge for a bit of adventure and viewing platforms for the best photos. Stop at the tearooms for cake and coffee, or follow the fairy trail – it’s a peaceful, family-friendly spot that feels like a secret hideaway.
