Bubbles and Squeaks: Free Family Events in Dorset National Landscape

Join artist-led company Emerald Ant for two spectacular outdoor Bubbles and Squeaks events taking place this autumn in the Dorset National Landscape.

Illustrated event poster showing brightly coloured handmade fish and animal sculptures surrounding the title "The Bubbles and Squeaks River Parades". Events take place in Cerne Abbas on 26 September at 3pm and Powerstock on 17 October at 6pm.

These free, family-friendly experiences combine creativity, performance and the landscape in a unique celebration of Dorset’s farming heritage and rural traditions.

Saturday 26 September, 3pm
๐Ÿ“ Cornfield below the Cerne Giant, Cerne Abbas

Visitors are invited to take part in a vibrant procession through a stunning rural setting beneath one of Dorset’s most iconic landmarks.

Saturday 17 October, 6pm
๐Ÿ“ Weir Field, Nettlecombe, Powerstock

An illuminated evening procession will culminate in a dramatic fire sculpture. A complimentary hog roast will also be available for participants.

Both events are free to attend and offer a memorable opportunity for families and communities to come together and experience the Dorset landscape in a creative and unexpected way.
