Dorset History Walks
Explore the history of a place using historic photographs to look at the past and find out what has, and has not changed over the past century.
Explore the history of a place using historic photographs to look at the past and find out what has, and has not changed over the past century.
Starting with a general introduction to the history of the place, we will then walk around to look at some features of interest. We will use historic photographs to find out what has, and hasn’t, changed over the past century or so.
These walks are intended for people who do not have a detailed knowledge of the history of the town or village, but who would like to know more. Delivered by Steve Wallis.
These walks will continue regularly until March 2023. Please sign up to our monthly newsletters to find out about our activities when released.
This event is FREE as it is funded by Stepping into Nature through the National Lottery Community Fund.
