Know before you go

Facilities: Toilets, Café, picnic area, accessible toilet, baby change facilities.

Accessibility: The gardens are mainly accessible by wheelchair although there is limited access to some of the lower paths.

Car parking: There are three pay and display areas for car parking operated by Dorset Council. Disabled parking is available.

Dogs: Welcome on a lead.

By public transport:

The closest bus stop to the Nothe Gardens can be found on Town Bridge and is an 11 minute walk to the Nothe Gardens.
Weymouth train station is a 24 minute walk from the Nothe Gardens.

By car:

From the North, take the A354 to Weymouth. Turn left onto Rodwell Avenue and continue onto Spring Road. Turn right onto Horsford Road and continue onto Barrack Road.
A number of council operated car parks operate in the Nothe Gardens along Barrack Road, which are in short walking distance of the Nothe Fort.
