Becoming a Nature Buddy is a rewarding opportunity to grow personally while making a real difference in someone’s life.

You don’t need any special qualifications – just a friendly attitude, a willingness to listen and a love for the natural world. Days and times are flexible to suit you.

As a volunteer, you’ll enjoy:

How do I get involved?

If you’re interested in joining our expanding Network there are two different volunteering options to choose from –

  • Community Nature Buddy, OR
  • Organisation based Nature Buddy
Nature Buddies

Community Nature Buddies

Community Nature Buddies play a key role in supporting people to enjoy nature from or at home.

Volunteers are required across Dorset but our initial focus is on areas in and around Sturminster Newton / Blandford Forum, Dorchester and Bridport.
