Every pound you spend with our local makers, farmers and independent businesses stays right here in the county; keeping real jobs going, farms thriving, and that quiet Dorset magic shining all winter long.

Dorset Food & Drink’s wonderful members range from kitchen-table producers to family farms, bakeries that smell divine, breweries, distilleries, cider farms and some of the finest vineyards in the land. Raise a glass to Dorset-grown sparkling wine, every bit as exceptional as anything from Champagne, crafted with pride by our Dorset Food & Drink members. Visit them at their vineyards and discover the magic for yourself.

Stock up at one of the regular or extra-festive Dorset Farmers’ Markets – where the fish is landed that morning, the sausages and bacon are the real deal, where veg still wears its soil, and the cheeses are properly tangy!

You’ll find handmade soaps, candles and crafts and locally grown flowers-along with the brilliant local businesses who’ve just swept the board at this year’s Taste of the West awards, walking away with armfuls of gold and silver – from small-batch kombucha that fizzes with pride, to knockout chutneys and sweet chilli jams, legendary pies and cakes worth the trip, and so much more.

There’s something delicious for everyone- food and drink gifts, little treats for teachers or neighbours. Best of all is they don’t need dusting and disappear with the happiest of noises!

However you like to shop, treat someone- or yourself, to something truly local.
