West Bay is the perfect place for strolling and enjoying the views. Admire the boats in the harbour, the ever changing sea along the front and the wildlife in the the River Brit. Situated on the edge of the east beach you will find the award winning West Bay Discovery Centre. Built inside the former historic Methodist Church the centre tells stories of West Bay, both past and present.

There is lots to discover in the quaint centre with interactive displays for all ages. They include the former shipbuilding industry, commercial fishing, the development of tourism and the surrounding environment of the Jurassic Coast. Admission is free.

• Short walks: Take time and enjoy the views and wander around West Bay Harbour, along the front and down the piers – easily take an hour just strolling around.
