Stay healthy and be happy ...
Blow the cobwebs away and make the most of being outside over the winter season time. It’s a great way to stay healthy, and a great time of year to take a look at the beautiful, Dorset landscape.

It’s been 60 years since almost half of Dorset became an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a ‘natural health service’ for all to enjoy.
This winter we are encouraging everyone to get outside for a breath of fresh air – enjoy the landscape that’s spectacular whatever the weather!
We’ve come up with some great places to go in the wintertime, whether you just need a quick breather or some wide open space to let off steam.
While you are out and about, do take some photos and enter our Landscapes for Life photo competition – we are particularly keen on seeing people out and about enjoying their natural health service.
